Attorney at Law graduated from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, also holds a LL.M from New York University School of Law, and a master’s degree in corporate, environmental, and administrative law. Lawyer admitted in Colombia and the State of New York. Recognized by the publication Chambers and Partners and The Legal 500 for the year 2021, and 2022 in the practice of Real Estate as Lawyer Band 3. She has 15 years of experience. She worked as Director of Urban Law in the Planning Secretariat of Bogotá, and in the last 9 years in the practice area of real estate, urban planning, hotels and agribusiness, and natural and environmental resources, of the law firm Brigard Urrutia in Bogotá. She has vast experience advising major international brands in the establishment of their real estate businesses in Colombia, as well as investors, lenders, and local developers in the development of real estate and infrastructure projects. Likewise, she has advised concessionaire companies in the process of acquiring real estate for infrastructure projects. As part of Brigard Urrutia, she advised clients such as PEI, Servicios Nutresa, H&M, DHL, Goldman Sachs, WeWork, Jaguar Capital, Fanalca, Perimetral de Oriente, among others. She was also part of the pro-bono project "Suyo", an initiative for the formalization of housing for low-income families, which was awarded in the 9th Edition of the Annual Awards of the Lex Mundi Pro Bono Foundation.
Lawyer from the Universidad de los Andes (2002), Master in Public Law from the Universidad Externado de Colombia (2017) and specialist in Public Management and Administrative Institutions from the Universidad de los Andes (2003). He has more than 15 years of professional experience in the regulatory regime of Public Utilities in Colombia and in Environmental Law. He has advised the Superintendency of Public Utilities and the Vice Ministry of Water and Basic Sanitation of the Ministry of Housing, City and Territory. In addition, he has been legal advisor to public service companies, the National Association of Public Utilities and Communications Companies – ANDESCO. Having advised both some of the main sectoral public entities and public service companies has allowed him to participate in the design and implementation of regulatory instruments, in the structuring of processes for linking specialized operators, in the processing of regulatory and sanctioning administrative actions, and in business strengthening processes associated with the Departmental Water Plans (PAP – PDA), among others.
